The E.L. Evans House
The hooded pressed-brick fireplace in the main entrance hall, together with the interior woodwork, rank this dwelling among the best of the Queen Anne style in Virginia. Back in the 1890's you could order this type of fireplace from a company in New York, which is possibly what Mr. Evans did.
