The Samuel F. Gilliland House - Queen Anne style residence with a Colonial Revival influence. Has a 3-bay porch with Tuscan columns, dental cornice and simple ballustrade. Built before 1910 by Samuel F. Gilliland, whose wife is a descendant of Captian E. B. Jeffress. The Gillilands for many years had a clothing store on Main Street.
